Javier Rebollo

Spanish director, writer and producer. Born in 1969 in Madrid. He started his career in 1996 directing a series of shorts with Lola Duenas. With his short En camas separadas (2002), he garnered around a hundred awards and two Goya nominations. His first feature film What I Know About Lola from 2006 won several awards.

In 2009 his second film Woman Without Piano won the Silver Shell for Best Director at the San Sebastian festival and the award for best film at the Los Angeles festival; it was elected Best Spanish Film by 'Cahiers du Cinéma'. The Dead Man and Being Happy is his latest film and premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival. (Source: Warsaw Film Festival)
