Cristina Comencini

1956, Roma

Christina Comencini is the daughter of the famous director Luigi Comencini. After studying economics she decided to follow her father. She practices her passion as co-scriptwriter together with Suso Cecchi d'Amico with whom she adapts novels for the screen. The first screenplay she wrote was Zoo in 1988. She published her first novel Le pagine strappate in 1991. In 2007, she will film her own book La bête dans le cœur which will represent Italy at the Oscars in 2006.
