Lisa Barros D´Sa
Born in Belfast in 1974, Lisa Barros D’Sa studied English at Oxford and then attended a Master in Script Writing at the London University of the Arts. In 2006 she wrote the script for The 18th electricity Plan, a short film she co-directed with Glenn Leyburn and which was awarded many prizes. She also made her first full-length film together with her husband, specifically with Cherrybomb, a film that took part at the Berlinale 2009. In 2012 they completed their second feature film, the biopic Good Vibrations, which was chosen to inaugurate the last Karlovy Vary Festival. (Source: Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla)
