Alice Rohrwacher

Alice Rohrwacher (Fiesole, 1981) studied in Turin and Lisbon. She made her first documentary, Un piccolo spettacolo, in 2003. In 2006 she took part in the collective documentary Checosamanca. Her first feature Corpo Celeste premiered in Cannes (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs) in 2011, was then selected in Sundance, New York, London, Rio, Tokyo film festivals and released in the US, UK, France. Rohrwacher's second feature The Wonders won the Grand Prix du Jury at the 2014 Festival de Cannes along with the Best Film Prize at München Filmfest.
