GLI ULTIMI DELLA CLASSE

by Luca Biglione

synopsis

After a disastrous mid-year report card, Michele, a somewhat scatterbrained youth, is pulled out of his secondary school. He will be home schooled until final exams in June, his only chance to keep from flunking out yet again. To keep his spirits up, Michele presents himself as a stupendous “Don Giovanni” on an Internet blog. But when someone discovers his real identity, the idea boomerangs, turning the name Michele into a synonym for “nerd”. Having sunk as far as he can go, the student tries to make a comeback by benefiting from the presence of the beautiful young lady tutoring him in Italian and Latin … Woven around Michele’s story are those of others who are also close to flunking out, either in school or life or love. But all these people are fun to be with, they take life as it comes, and they have no intention of ever giving up.
