It’s been forever since the four friends have seen each other. Manni is very ill and his last wish brings them together again: the friends are to find Rosi, the former “queen” of their clique and the love of Manni’s life – he wants to beg her pardon. Once the men are reunited a long lost feeling of being alive begins to reawaken in them. In this relaxed atmosphere the distance between the men and Rosi soon dissolves. They pass the time at Manni’s pool and listen to old records. Gradually a lot of things begin to dawn on them: Bernie has somehow lost his love for his wife and job, Justus senses that work isn’t all that life has to offer, and Harry has to cope with the fact that his wife and his lover have both left him at the same time – per text message, on the same day.
