synopsis

A small monk community. Monastery wouldn’t differ much from others but for the fact that three of the monks have a characteristic scent. One of them smells like a bird cherry, another like cherry tree and the third one, like a plum tree. One day, a young woman, a painting conservator, appears in a monastery. She is to restore local paintings. Natasza is accompanied by her five-year-old daughter, Gienia. The girl’s charm and curiosity bring confusion into monks’ calm life.
