synopsis

In an Algerian coastal village in the 1990s, the fun-loving Amel works as an emergency doctor in a hospital. One day Amel's husband Mourad disappears. Togther with Khadidja, a nurse at the hospital where Amel works, they search for Mourad and their search leads them to an underground Islamist group.
