LIFE IN THE TIME OF DEATH

by Andrea Caccia

synopsis

The seasons pass at the Lavagnina Lakes. Eleven conversations as the end approaches. A trilogy on the sense of seeing: a rock, a face, the flow of life among things. "Death is exigent, it demands silence, patience, strength and meditation. A meditation that borders on fear. Fear of revealing ourselves, of discovering ourselves weak, of bowing down to destiny. I nearly abandoned [this project] out of fear a number of times. Then I realized that nothing is like death...but life itself."
