VANGELO
synopsis
Pippo, a theatre director, travels to a centre where refugees come to seek asylum, and shares their everyday lives, in which they are suspended between painful memories and an uncertain future. Slowly but surely, the refugees open up to the director, telling him their stories. Some of these feature in the film, others remain secret. And in the end, the idea of staging the Gospel takes shape through the lives of these people, the inevitable protagonists of a new age.
