CHAR... THE NO MAN'S ISLAND

synopsis

The two young boys Rubel and Sofikul were once neighbours, but erosion caused by the river Ganges swept their homes away. Now both of their families have made their new home on Char, a small island in the Ganges, on the border between India and Bangladesh. Surrounded by the river on all sides the landless nomads try to bring back their settled lives from the past.
