The hero of the story is the writer of Mark, whose long friendship with Arthur is suddenly interrupted by the appearance in their lives, a mysterious woman. Marek unconscious manipulation which is subjected to attempts to explain the mystery of a night in which his friend was lost in unclear circumstances. From the recesses of his memory fragments of Marek brings events: the well-oiled party at the eccentric publisher, unwanted encounter Mark and Arthur, the quarrel of old friends, exchanging blows, the blood ... Marek subconsciously suspected of killing each other friend. His fears and remorses are suppressed by the passionate meeting with a woman who divided the old friends and perhaps knows more about the disappearance of Arthur than you might think.
