KING'S ROAD

by Valdís Óskarsdóttir

synopsis

The story takes place over five days following the return of Junior in Iceland. He came back to look for his father and to help him out. But things don’t quite go as he had planned. Senior is living in a trailer park with his mother and his new trophy wife. Also hanging out in the trailer park are the two brothers Ray and Davis as well as Rosa and Onni, who are staying there because they have nowhere else to go. All these personal stories intervene in this dark comedy about human relationships.
