synopsis

Jacob leaves the monastery where he has been living and encounters the neurotic, but beautiful, Julia. His dream is to reach the sea and she decides to join him, hitch-hiking their way to the coast. As the journey passes, two very unlikely people - a monk and an HIV-positive prostitute - become close.
