The seventh edition of Conecta Fiction & Entertainment will be held from 26 to 29 June at the El Greco Conference Centre in Toledo (Spain). It is an international market focused on television content creation, development, production, financing, broadcasting and commercialisation, to connect industry and talent, fiction and entertainment, and Europe with America. Spread over three intense days, it includes practical workshops, panel discussions and international pitching sessions.  Over the course of these days, the current challenges of content financing, tax incentives and budget optimisation will be analysed from various perspectives and solutions in workshops. Under the heading Trends and Keynote format, data analysis sessions will be offered giving updated references of production and programming of content at a global level, with a special focus on Central, Eastern and Northern Europe, and not forgetting Latin America and especially Mexico.

Among its many sections is Spain Content Showcase. Spanish content distributors have confirmed their participation in this section, which will take place on 28 and 29 June: executives from Atresmedia Televisión, Filmax, Movistar Plus+ International, Onza Distribution and The Mediapro Studio will show their latest products to buyers and programmers from Europe and America. It will be accompanied by networking activities to promote dialogue and interaction between Spanish sales agents and international representatives.

The preview of the Awards Gala (to be held on Wednesday 28 at the Eurocaja Rural Auditorium in Toledo) will host the exclusive premiere of the first images of Time Zone, a new entertainment format that will premiere this summer. The presentation will feature Miguel Martín, Managing Director of Zeppelin, and Miguel Salvat, VP Original Programming and Commissioning Editor for Iberia at HBO Max, who will analyse this innovative programme with a video game aesthetic never seen before on television.

Additionally, some thirty projects will be presented at this event to television channels, streaming platforms, production companies and other audiovisual industry representatives, with the chance to compete for various awards offered by different companies and institutions, both Spanish and international.

The fiction films, selected by category, are: Pitch Copro Series - International co-production projects for television series or mini-series (finalists here); Pitch High-End Series - High-budget projects with high audience potential and elements that make them particularly attractive (international co-productions, being backed by talents such as screenwriters, directors, cast, etc., or based on pre-existing material such as podcasts, video games, literary works, plays, etc.) (finalists here); and Pitch Music Series - Fiction series or miniseries projects, where music plays a key role (finalists here).

Pitch Docudrama Series will bring documentary series featuring fictional recreations to Toledo (finalists here); and Pitch Feelgood Formats will include television projects with elements of humour or entertainment (finalists here).
